Assistant Export Sales Manager

Focus:
* Expand sales to international markets by identifying new customers and markets for existing product lines; and meeting their needs.

* Maintain sales by providing products to existing customer base; and meeting their needs.

Duties:
* Assist our Export Sales Manager in everyday duties

* Sell branded consumer products to international markets by identifying prospects and customers; meeting their needs.

* Maintain relationships by regularly communicating with our customer base.

* Expand our sales by identifying new customers and markets.

* Expand our business by identifying new product lines.

* Provide export market information to management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data & trends based on information provided by Accounting.

* Analyze past sales results by product line, by market place and customer (year to date); as provided by Accounting.

* Contact customers by e-mail to discuss past results and how to expand business.

Basic requirements:
- Good or excellent English skills are required

- Strong work ethic - a commitment to work hard and long hours

- Multitasking - candidate must be able to "tackle" various issues simultaneously

- Detail oriented, well organized

- Interact with foreign Prospects and Customers; as well as our Principals

- Must be good with figures

- Good typing skills and computer literacy is one of our basic requirements

We use MS Office 2003 - Outlook 2003 (BCM), Word 2003, Excel 2003 (you should be able to use filters, sort and create basic formulas), PowerPoint and Photoshop.

- Knowledge of foreign languages is preferred.
